Glades Haven is a family owned and operated campground offering everything needed to enjoy a peaceful getaway. The 10,000 islands are considered to be the last untamed frontier of the everglades and it is right at your doorstep. Our old country style cabins featuring modern amenities inside are all within 50 yards of your own private dock. Our full service marina with boat ramp is just outside your door and offers boat, kayak and canoe rentals all with direct access to Chokoloskee bay and the Gulf of Mexico.       We have a deli and liquor store on the premises with a large assortment of tackle and live bait including shrimp, pinfish, blue crabs, as well as frozen mullet. If fishing is not your thing we are located directly across from Everglades National Park, which offers scenic boat tours and there are also a number of airboat tours located here in town. At the end of the day for your relaxation we have a beautiful new pool to sit and watch one of South Florida’s most spectacular sunsets.      If you’re too tired to cook your catch bring it over to the World Famous Oyster House restaurant and we will do it for you. Didn’t have any luck on the water then try one of our many seafood dishes such as our Pan Seared Grouper with tropical Salsa as seen on the Food Network with bobby Flay.
